End...Spring Break...
Yes, it has come and gone again, and what has been accomplished? Well, what kind of a measure of life is that, how much one can accomplish in two weeks, right? Perhaps it should be measured by the centeredness I feel going back to work tomorrow. Hmmmm. Actually I am really looking forward to seeing my students. I just wish I didn't have to teach or to write a masters paper for Thursday night. How can a teacher get mad at his students for not getting things done ahead of time when he is woefully inadequate in that area himself.
Paper? Its on message design, a domain of instuctional technology design. Ya, that's what I said. This paper only has become clear to me in the last week or so and now I have to read a half dozen books and 10 papers or so on it to forumulate my thoughts on what other people think. Sometimes I don't quite get it. What's the point of these papers where you are not supposed to make your own thoughts and theories known - the assumption is that we don't know anything until we become PhD students. Hmmmm.
Landscaping! Now there is a great way to avoid doing a masters paper - I built a sand box this week! Oh yeah. It was great fun but I need more sand - stuff's expensive. My daughter hasn't christened it yet because it has been raining for a while this week.
